Proactive Planning: Getting More than the Degree

Presenter: Dr. Noro Andriamanalina, Office for Diversity in Graduate Education
Succeeding in a graduate program requires more than taking courses, conducting research, or completing a capstone. Students must proactively plan to identify and meet professional goals for which specific skills and experiences are needed. This session will discuss strategies and resources to build a strong network of support to ensure a smooth transition into a rewarding career. This workshop is for students who did not attend Dr. Andriamanalina’s session during the 2014 Graduate School Welcome and Orientation.
